This is my high school leaving project. Originally, I wanted a kind of portfolio book, but i decided for a childrens book in the end. My sister and I wrote the story together based off of an old dwarf sketch, who later became Fidlifuk, the dude you see on the cover. All of these were done on paper first and then painted digitally. I wanted to keep the pencil drawing visible, which later restricted me a lot. But in the end I'm glad it did because I barely made it in time. :)
This is the cover illustration.
I chose an untraditional square format: 20x20cm. All these illustrations are uploaded in the same scale they appear on page.
