FLORIDSDORFER ANIMATION

Floridsdorf is a typical working-class district on the outskirts of Vienna. The Department of Social Design at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna has been exploring the district over the past years, focusing on the locations, topics, and perspectives that shape the digital identity of the area.

"Floridsdorfer" is a poetry video featuring texts extracted from internet reviews, chat groups, and online media. I directed the animation using 3D scans of the city, which were then converted into a particle system.
