The painting process took more than a year. It was an emotional process with lots of excitement, sadness, and contentment. Reasons I often wondered why I was unable to pick up the brush in time. As a result, a special lana oil (an extremely rare coconut "oil" tree found in the remote town in the Philippines) was applied onto the canvas artwork.
