For this project, we had to make an album cover, the techniques were completely free. My album (by Radiohead) features emotional ballads that shift into a punk/rock vibe, often using dark colours like blue. For me, red symbolises both passion and pain, which fits perfectly with ballads. "Just Killing Time" is a fitting title (from a lyric) as it resonates with the feeling of being alone and having to pass time by oneself. It beautifully captures the emotion and pain of the songs. Eventually I chose to capture a dead bird, which links to a broken cuckoo clock. The subtitle, "I'm Not Living," will be incorporated into the design. I've used "Mixed Media," blending and editing various materials digitally to create the artwork.
To sum up, I have also created my own font for this project.
