Social Media Compaign: Mont D'or X The Matrix

The choice is yours! 

Client: Mont D'or Algeria
December 2023 

✅ The challenge: 

Make a special online campaign for our client "Mont D'or" with different parts, using influencers and showcasing their cheese bars.  
And guess what? This will be the very first episode … 

✅ What we did: 

Starting with the timeless film 'The Matrix'. Our idea was inspired by the red and blue colors found on Mont D'or's packaging, similar to the iconic scene with the pills in the movie. 
We linked the Matrix movie to the brand by adding a fun scene. In this part, Neo experienced back pain due to a lack of calcium, which we related to the benefits of cheese. 

At first, we thought about using fancy 3D graphics, to create the same atmosphere of the movie but it took too long. So, we switched to filming in an unused factory to match Matrix's dark and futuristic vibe. Besides, we kept the same color grading palette and used the same greenish tones seen in the original movie.  

Also, Finding the perfect actors for Morpheus and Smith was tough, but after many auditions, we got it right. Working with the influencer Rifka was awesome! He played Neo and brought a lot of fun to the set, spreading joy. 

To make everything look like the real version, we asked local craftsmen to make the costumes. They amazed us, especially with Neo's coat. We even got pros to create weapons and fighting gear for the scenes. 

In addition, making the slow-motion parts look aesthetic was not easy. In the Matrix movie, they used multiple cameras, but we came up with a smart idea. We used ropes and Rifka did an amazing job performing the scene. 

We had only one day to film, which was challenging because of the weather. The rain decided to join us, but we handled it well and kept going. 

✅ The effects: 

Mont D'or X Matrix campaign was all about being creative and working together. it left a lasting impression on digital platforms (Facebook & Instagram) 

The collaboration with Rifka, the influencer was a game-changer, the video went viral getting over 1,6 million organic views within 2 days of its release 

Because of this, Mont D'or's Instagram page got more than 1K new followers! 

We also earned the trust of our client, which was significant to us. Their confidence in us was a big part of making this project a success!
