MakeAbles
This project marks the culmination of my Bachelor of Arts in Design Communication at Sunway University. In the previous semester, my partner Aishath Umama and I explored "Deconstructing Everyday Design Experiences in Malaysia: Enhancing Future Design by Identifying User Inconveniences." This project aims to address concerns about the design and built environment's interaction with diverse users.
The outcome is an interactive educational experience tailored for designers. It focuses on the challenges of user inconveniences and the lack of accessibility in Malaysian design, providing practical insights for designers to enhance inclusivity in their work.
This initiative is the first step in a broader campaign. The goal is to integrate accessible design requirements into the industry and design education, reshaping it towards inclusivity. Through this effort, we aspire to contribute to a positive transformation in design culture, making it more accessible and user-friendly for everyone.
