Halaska studio is new yet industry leading design partners in Web3 space. In a short period of time they have established themselves as the pioneers of cutting edge solutions for DeFi, and Web3 products.
Chris — studio's founder reached me out to redesign their current identity. We started off by narrowing down the position of the studio, mission and values.
We then crafted the timeless logo that's eventually going to become the face of the studio. From there we various difference supporting graphics such as pixel based gradient textures using various shapes i.e. squres, hexagons, & trinagles.
To communicate an innovative and cutting edge feeling we went for the color palette based on the ocean. For our primary dark color we went for deep sea blue paired with fresh, slightly desaturated blues and yellows to avoid visual fatigue.
In terms of typography we wanted something that's timeless and stay relevant for decades to come. So to avoid the cliche of using outright Helevetica (which BTW we adore) we went for an equally outstanding yet fresh Neue Montreal by Pangram Pangram.
