In this short film, the topic of self-optimisation is presented in an exaggerated and almost glorifying way. The film takes a critical look at the current obsession with constant improvement and questions how much is enough.

Society is confronted by a flood of media suggesting that there is always just one product, one thing missing to make us perfect. "Wie gut soll ich denn noch werden?" goes one step further and explores the dark abysses that open up when this self-optimisation is manically taken to extremes.

The film shows how people become actors of their own reality, deluding themselves into believing that this pathological addiction to optimisation is something positive. Not only the external facets of self-optimisation are addressed, but also the inner conflicts and the creeping dissatisfaction that spreads when you constantly question and are questioned.

The short film therefore not only takes a critical look at superficial self-optimisation, but also explores profound questions about identity, self-acceptance and the effects of the constant search for perfection on individual well-being.
