Aki Shimazaki is a Canadian novelist born in Japan. Many of her books have been awarded.
This is her last pentalogy, L’ombre du chardon. For the translation of it into Galician, Rinoceronte Editorial has counted on me to design it.
At this moment, the 5 books have been published.
Each book is directly related to a flower.
For the design of the main flowers, I tried different techniques and results, traditional and digital.
When we decided on the look of the flowers, the color of each book had to work separately and together.
