The weather is extremely cold and the night is dark. However, it's a perfect photo opportunity. As the Lamps are your only source of light, it guides you towards the unknown. I wanted to explore the feeling of curiosity - what's out there? 

I like taking focused pictures with a blurred background; it makes it easier to justify your focal point. I took this shot to symbolise a sense of what it would be like being a miniscule artifact or insect.

Unfortunately, you can't tell from this shot, so you're just going to have trust my word for it. But I did an over the shoulder shot; I wanted to depict a sense of remembrance. From where I came to where I finished to take this shot.
