Secret 7" //
7 tracks from 7 of the best-known musicians around and press each one 100 times to 7" vinyl. Creatives from around the world interpret the tracks in their own style, resulting in a one-of-a-kind sleeve for every 7”. The creatives are made up of famous names through to artwork submitted by creatives, mums, kids and dogs.

Being a huge fan of Elbow it was a no brainer that I would choose to design a sleeve for the single 'Grounds for Divorce'. Rather than creating a piece on a design software on my laptop and submitting it online, I wanted to create the artwork physically (Plus I honestly thought by physically working on the sleeve itself, it might improve the chances of my sleeve getting picked from the 1000's of entrants). So I popped down to Cardiff's Spillers Record Shop, where Secret 7" had sent sleeve design packages for people to pick up.

My idea for the record sleeve artwork was mainly a stylistic one, but with 'Grounds of Divorce' being a cocktail drink, I wanted to create a graphic that would represent liquid.
