In this work, Marlus represents an immense artificial brain, a living and pulsating neural network, processing a continuous flow of data. This visual metaphor is designed to be beautiful in its structural complexity, evoking admiration and reflection. At the same time, it embodies the mystery and unanswered questions about the profound impact that artificial intelligence can have on our lives and society.
Nesta obra, Marlus representa de um imenso cérebro artificial, uma rede neural viva e pulsante, processando um fluxo contínuo de dados. Esta metáfora visual é projetada para ser bela em sua complexidade estrutural, evocando admiração e reflexão. Ao mesmo tempo, ela encarna o mistério e as questões não respondidas sobre o impacto profundo que a inteligência artificial pode ter em nossas vidas e sociedade.
About the Exhibition
How can we leverage the benefits that Artificial Intelligence (AI) has brought us to build a more dignified and sustainable Tomorrow for everyone? It was with this question in mind that the LAA - Laboratory of Tomorrow Activities conducted another innovative experiment: AYA and her world of creative artificial intelligences.
At the exhibition, visitors were welcomed to the LAA by AYA, an AI hostess developed in collaboration with IBM and trained to respond to the most common questions about Artificial Intelligence. Visitors had the opportunity to practically understand how the training process of an AI works and how they can collaborate with human beings. Through tools capable of reading facial expressions, composing music according to individual tastes, and working on the creation of abstract paintings, for example, visitors experienced the integration of AI into everyday life.
AYA and her world of creative artificial intelligences was a joint realization of the LAA - Laboratory of Tomorrow Activities and the Deeplab Project, in collaboration with IBM and supported by CyberLabs and the Development area of TV Globo.
Como aproveitamos os benefícios que a Inteligência Artificial (IA) nos trouxe para construir um Amanhã mais digno e sustentável para todos? Foi com esse questionamento que o LAA - Laboratório de Atividades do Amanhã realizou mais uma experiência inovadora: AYA e seu mundo de inteligências artificiais criativas.
Na exposição, os visitantes foram recebidos no LAA pela AYA, anfitriã IA elaborada em colaboração com a IBM e treinada para responder às dúvidas mais comuns sobre Inteligência Artificial. Os visitantes tiveram a oportunidade de entender na prática como funciona o processo de treinamento de uma IA e como elas podem trabalhar em colaboração com os seres humanos. Por meio de ferramentas capazes de ler expressões faciais, compor músicas de acordo com o gosto de cada um e trabalhar na criação de pinturas abstratas, por exemplo, os visitantes experimentaram a integração da IA na vida cotidiana.
AYA e seu mundo de inteligências artificiais criativas foi uma co-realização do LAA - Laboratório de Atividades do Amanhã e da Deeplab Project, em colaboração com a IBM e apoio da CyberLabs e da área de Desenvolvimento da TV Globo.
