Documental.xyz is a web platform for constructing situated data-driven investigative narratives on human, territorial and environmental rights. Combining the power of digital media – code, video and mapping – the platform offers tools for weaving complex datasets into compelling visual “geo-stories”, empowering organizations, journalists and media producers to document local realities to global audiences in socially meaningful and engaging ways. Our mission is to foster public awareness for social and environmental justice.

Documental.xyz is an open-source project originally developed by the architectural agency autonoma (FAU-UnB) and MediaLab.UFRJ, in collaboration with LAVITS network.
