Communicating with Walmart customers via text message
A subset of Walmart's customers want the option to receive updates about their Walmart.com order via SMS rather than through email only. As part of a company-wide SMS Enterprise project, I developed instructional copy for the Walmart site site, educating users about their SMS options and how to manage their text alerts.
To ensure SMS content consistency, I developed a Walmart SMS syle guide that was distributed to all divisions of Walmart and Walmart.com. In addition, I researched and drafted a a series of best practices to ensure compliance with Mobile MMA guidelines, partner standards and internal policy.

The final component of this project was to develop 23 Walmart SMS messages that would be generated and distributed to customers in response to various actions. Each message falls within character limits, legal requirements, style and brand guidelines, and technology constraints.
