We present the eco-friendly composite material Grecipe, made from recycled coffee grounds and waste plastics. In the hida lab CMF library, use the ”brown & grecipe“ filter to search for these samples.

CMF Insight :
Generally, coffee grounds contain oils that must be removed as they can hinder molding. After oil removal, the material is dried, mixed, and extruded to create an eco-friendly substance. The concentration of coffee color, particle distribution, and size can be adjusted depending on the amount of coffee grounds added during the mixing process.

커피 찌꺼기는 대체로 유분(오일)을 함유하고 있는데, 성형 시 밖으로 배출되어 성형을 방해하는 요소로 반드시 제거가 필요합니다. 유분 제거 작업을 거친 뒤 건조, 배합, 압출의 과정을 거처 친환경 소재로 만들어집니다. 소재 배합 과정 시 첨가하는 커피 찌꺼기의 함량에 따라 커피색의 농도 조절, 입자 분포도나 크기 등을 조절할 수 있습니다.
