The world’s 1st Autonomous Electric Tractor
It was an enriching project involvement to redesign the farming experience and carefully consider the full ecological lifecycle of the BearCub 24 tractor, from manufacturing to use and recycling. As the first tractor to be developed from a sketch concept and produced in a series, the BearCub 24 embodies Ztractor’s mission to provide ecological, economic, and autonomous farming solutions globally through its use of electric energy, artificial intelligence, IoT data, and autonomy.
The BearCub 24 is a small, entry-level tractor that is suitable for tasks previously performed by 25 horsepower diesel tractors. It is powered by electricity and utilizes algorithms to optimize battery usage, resulting in zero carbon emissions and minimal impact on crop health and the environment. The tractor also relies on artificial intelligence to navigate and cultivate large areas of farmland without a driver on board. Each tractor is equipped with sensors that collect and upload data to a cloud storage system, which is then used to continually improve productivity through machine learning.
