폭발방지 기능으로 유명한 한국의 부탄가스 브랜드인 MAX와 콜라보레이션하여 부탄가스 제품을 출시하게 되었습니다.
한정판 제품으로 2024년 청룡의 해를 표현하였습니다.
앞서 2명의 유명한 아티스트와 콜라보레이션 한 경험이 있는 MAX에서는 이번에는 공모전을 통해 새로운 아티스트들을 모집하여 부탄가스, 이소가스 대용량, 이소가스 소용량 3개의 파트로 나누어 제품을 출시합니다.
공모전은 지난해 11월 아티스트의 포트폴리오 제출과 함께 진행되었으며 아티스트의 그림스타일과 커리어들을 종합적으로 판단하여 1위부터 3위까지의 아티스트들을 선별하였습니다.
저는 공모전에서 1위를 수상하여 MAX제품군의 대표제품인 부탄가스 캔을 담당하게 되었습니다.

MAX, which has previously collaborated with two famous artists, will recruit new artists through a contest and release products in three parts: butane gas, isogas(Large, Small).
The contest was held with the submission of the artist's portfolio in November last year, and artists from first to third were selected by comprehensively judging the artist's painting style and careers.
I won first place in the contest, so I was in charge of the MAX's flagship product, butane gas can.

Final
Blue, the representative color of the MAX brand, is used to express the blue dragon.
It was inspired by Ilwolobongdo, a famous painting from Joseon,
and painted mountains, clouds, shields, and blue dragons in the form of Korean patterns.
Lettering
Since the product name is best visible on the package,
we made lettering directly rather than the previously distributed font.
Lake Water Waves
The shaking of the water in the lake is expressed as a pattern.
Pine & Rock Face
It expresses Korean pine trees and rock face.
Cloud & Sun and Crescent Moon
Clouds and Suns and Crescent Moon in Oriental Form.
Blue Dragon & Max Butane's signature shield
It depicts a blue dragon winding around Max Butane's signature shield.
