As we all know, the disinfection process has become our biggest shield during the pandemic process.
At the beginning of the project, we interviewed many users and investigated people's disinfection habits.We have seen that almost every product that enters the house is tried to be disinfected with great care. And for this reason, the use of disinfectants was increasing tremendously. Liters of disinfectant started to be used in every house.At this point, a practical use that can be at hand at any time has become very important for the disinfection process. On the other hand, there are a lot of doubts about the disinfection methods used in people's minds. I wonder if these products really provide complete protection? Or could it cause other harm for themselves? They don't know.
On the other hand, we sometimes need more professional applications to provide longer term protection. We may want to protect our cars, offices, rooms of the house or workplaces, or our daily belongings such as phones and keys for a long time.
Our product b-safe... A product that users can provide long-lasting protection or safely and easily access the disinfection spray just for their daily needs. In general, moduler consists of 3 main parts. At the top we have the spray head placed on the body, and in the middle we have the main body, which houses the electronics . And at the bottom is our water reservoir where water is stored .
Our product provides disinfection by using a liquid called hypochlorous acid.
İn fact, it is the only harmless and chemical-free option that can be easily used anywhere and even in food. Hocl is actually a solution obtained from the hydrolysis process of salt that we know in its simplest form. And this solution provides a precise disinfection against many pathogens, including the new type of corona virus. And it provides this in a very healthy and natural way. Because hocl is also a part of the immune system, it is also a substance naturally produced by white blood cells.
Let's talk a little bit about the usage scenario.
First, we start by filling the water that will be required for the hydrolysis process. With the help of buttons on both sides, we separate the water tank from the main body. We can do this with the help of a jug or by holding it under the tap . To fill water, we fill the reservoir with water from the part of the specialized surface to the specified level.
İn fact, the size of the reservoir we use here is determined in line with user habits. A liquid of this amount can easily meet a person's needs for a week. After the water is filled, the reservoir settles back into place and locks into place with the help of the same buttons.
There is a specialized salt chamber on the upper surface of the product. Together with the product, we add a certain amount of salt to the salt chamber with the help of the future scale. Since there will be an automatic dosing system in the product, this added salt can be sufficient for a long time .Finally, when we press the start button, the hydrolysis process begins...And the reservoir located under the spray head is filling with hocl. When our solution is ready, the product gives both audible and light feedback and informs the user that it is ready for use. Then we apply one amount of pressure on the spray head and rotate it to release the spray head. We can take the spray head wherever we want all day long and use it anywhere at any time.
Let's talk a little bit about the details of the spray head:
There is a button on the nozzle that provides continuous spraying as you press it . We do this spraying with the help of a small compressor in the body . Again, there are 3 point battery indicators on the body.On the front of the spray, there is a black light part that shows how effectively the disinfected surface is coated.The lowest part is the chamber part where the disinfectant liquid is located.
There are many different biochemical coating materials in the world that have proven to be effective. These coatings can kill viruses at a rate of 99.99%. And the surfaces on which these coatings are applied can maintain this feature for about 2 months.
In our product, disinfectant capsules that will provide long-term protection can be stored in the chamber located on the main body. When needed, the user can use the spray head with these capsules and get long-term protection of the desired product. And customers can easily order the capsule they want via the website or app.For the product, we also worked on an application design where both the order can be placed and the coating time can be followed. When the user applies a spray to a new product, they take a photo and save it with automatic dating . When the protection period of a coated surface is ended, it is warned with notice and spray is applied again. İf the spray capsules run out, they can order a new spray from the store through the same application.
Our product can be used by wrapping it against the wall in case of home entrances. It can also be used as stand alone on any surface...families with school-age children can easily use it safely in the disinfection process of school belongings...Or we can use it at any time for the disinfection of our belongings such as phones, wallets, watches, shoes, which we use daily.Spray heads can be at hand at any time on the console of our cars...Or it can be easily preferred in small businesses that need continuous disinfection such as barbers and hairdressers.
We have created different color alternatives in younger and dynamic, soft pastel tones that are compatible with beko's brand identity.
We aimed to offer a simple and clean packaging proposal that will strengthen the hygiene perception of the product.In this suggestion, we used a transparent thin gelatin on a soft white box that strengthens the perception of hygiene. We used a special design label on the opening part of this gelatin . İn this way, we have created a packaging design where users will be sure that they are the first to open the package.
