Meath Folk Tales
Meath Folk Tales was written by Richard Marsh and published by The History Press in 2013. The illustration I provided for the book was based on the tale about The Dead Coach. According to the tale Dead Coaches were ghoulish stage coaches manned by headless drivers and pulled by headless horses. Dead Coaches were said to appear when a death was approaching in a district or among certain members of a family.
