I created a plant pot inspired by Talavera pottery for a project on culture
My Final Major project for 2023 had the brief "memories and echoes," I chose to research into different extinct animals and the art movements of the time they died in, creating posters and a zine from this concept.
Embroidery
In a recent project I created these embroidered pieces, inspired by photos I took of plants underneath a microscope. It's inspired me to incorporate mor 3D elements in my work.
"Will you be my friend" commissioned work
I was commissioned to create characters and illustrations for a rhyming children's book called "will you be my friend," the 'fox in blue socks' being the main character.
I spent around 4 weeks on this project, creating 35 pages and 3 double page spreads.

Between college terms, I was given an object to create a sketchbook from. I was given a can-opener and so I took the opportunity to experiment with materials I don't use often, like gouache and oil-pastels, I did research into my object, and spun it into as many different concepts as I could, it was a fun challenge and helped develop my work further.
I enjoy creating characters, So I created a character using can-opener as the main inspiration.
Clarks Brief
As a professional brief I was given two weeks to create a design for a Clarks shoe. I chose to base mine on Kintsugi pottery, doing research into different ceramic and textile artists. I finished this project with two A2 boards that could be used to present my design to the Clarks team.

Art Fight
Art fight is an annual art trading game which lasts a month, in which two teams exchange art of each others' characters for points. I've participated for several years, and it has helped me to improve my art with posing, lighting and backgrounds especially.

Lino Prints
I enjoy the use of linoleum printing as a medium, and have created repeating patterns for my FMP as well as planning on using printing in my latest project, in which I compare how birds display affection to how humans do for the brief "passion."
