22.7.14 Day 1 : Fashion Illustration

David Downton is a famous fashion illustrator. He is a major influence in my designs and sketches as I am intrigued and drawn to his attention to detail, line techniques, style and the sophisticated feel of the image.

23.7.14 Day 2: Flower Light - inspired by the intriguing design of the light, the materials used, layering, positioning, lighting and originality.

25.7.14 Day 4: Interesting Light - inspired through the form and intriguing pattern of the design. And how it makes your eye travel through the design and allow you to see space, shadows and the movement.

26.7.14 Day 5: Layered Wall - inspired through the use of layering, lighting situated under the layers, positioning and the bright joyful colours.

27.7.14 Day 6: People in a food Court - I was interested to see what the food court looked like from above. I was fasinated with the turn out. From bird eye view - the positioning, space and the contrast of the layout - I found was quite interesting and visually appealing.

28.7.14 Day 7 Gate - I was interested by the movement and design of the gate. The colour and the unique/originality of the form created.

29.7.14 Day 8: Ceiling Structure - The structure of the ceiling was visually allurng through the layout and design.

30.7.14  Day 9 Tutorial - Activity - A rough quick sketch of items situated in front of the room.

02.8.14  Day 11 Flower - A sketch of a flower from a photograph I shot. Used HB and 2B pencils.

03.8.14 Day 12 - Long haired girl - A sketch of a girl, from a photograph I took of my friend Sophie. Is a cartoon styled image, is still a working progress

04.8.14  Day 13 A Dress - A working progress fashion illustration. A girl in a formal attire dress. I created this image as I am influenced by the fashion illustration and tried to recreate my own in a more simplistic form.

05.8.14  Day 14 A Working Class - Another working progress fashion illustration. A women in a formal attire dress. I was inspired to create this images as I was daydreaming of a dress I would love to wear and would feel beautiful in.

06.8.14  Day 15 Pretty Woman - A stylised sketch of a woman, from a photograph of a friend I shot. I was inspired to draw this image as I wanted to recreate this emotion and feeling of the woman's faces.

07.8.14  Day 16 - Wake Up - A storyboard of my daily routine in the mornings. I was influenced to pick this life event as I replay this outine every morning without fail.

08.8.14 Day 17 - Old kettle - A sketch of a old metal kettle. I was inspired to draw this as I love the shape of the kettle and I love that is old and antique.

09.8.14­  Day 18 - Flowerrrs - A inked drawing of flowers. I was inspired to create this image as I love dasiy and I am intrigued by how you can manipulate the lines with the use of ink and make it look effortless and simplistic.

10.8.14  Day 19 - Looking Away - Another sketch of a girl, looking off into the distance, future.

12.8.14 Day 20 - Inked Storyboard - A storyboard of the day I hit a bird while driving. I was inspired to recreate this life event as it has a punch/kick to it and is exciting therefore would be appropriate as a comic strip.

13.8.14  Day 21 A Day Like Rain - A drawing of a girl in a coat. Another fashion illustration. Was drawn with black fine tip pens. Just a fun little drawing

14.8.14  Day 22 - close up - A panel taken out of the comic strip, enlarge and inked. Had a few issues with the finer details and the expression of the face. I was influenced to recreate this panel as it is the most exciting/funny image.

15.8.14  Day 23 A Stare - A fashion illustration of a gil. I was focused on the smaller details and quite pleased with how this one turned out. A was inspired by an old photo on my computer and recreated it.

16.8.14  Day 24 - Yes Another fashion illustration, I wanted to create something a little more edgy.

17.8.14  Day 25 Rose - This is a inked drawing of a rose. Its more abstract within its style. Its different and unique, with more development I believe I could improve it.

18.8.14 Day 26 Birdie - A sketched image of a bird that was outside my house. I used ink. I liked playing around with the lines in the image.

19.8.14 Day 27 Birdie 2.0 - I progressed with this sketch and coloured more of the image in. It gives the image a different appeal and emotion.

20.8.14 Day 28 Opps - This is the original comic panel digitally coloured on Photoshop. I did this through adding layers (multiply) and filling them in with colours. I was quite surprised with the out come. It looks better than what I though it would.

21.8.14 Day 29 Logo - A Logo I created on Illustrator and then manipulated it on Photoshop. It is a unique design. I was inspired through the lines you can create on Illustrator. I wanted to make tree like figure on the bottom and a ying-yang type of object at the top.

22.8.14  Day 30 Red Lipstick - This piece was created on Photoshop. The sketch was manipulated and digitally coloured, the background image was photographed in a garden, was also manipulated through contrast and cropping, both layers were then combined to create the final piece.

The sketch was manipulated and digitally coloured, the background image was photographed in a garden, was also manipulated through contrast and cropping, both layers were then combined to create the final piece. The positioning was altered to create a emotional feeling

24.8.14 Day 32 Yellow- This piece was created on Photoshop. The sketch was manipulated and digitally coloured, the background image was photographed in a garden, was also manipulated through contrast and cropping, both layers were then combined to create the final piece. The positioning was altered to create a emotional feeling.

25.8.14 Day 33 Pink Haired Woman - The sketch was manipulated and digitally coloured on Photoshop.

26.8.14 Day 34 Dark Rose - The sketch was imported in Photoshop were I added a background layer and created textures behind the image to create a dark and emotional feeling.

27.8.14 Day 35 This creation is made up of 2 sketches that were manipulated and imported into Photoshop. A background layer was created with different textures of the brush tool. All layer were then combine for the final piece.

28.8.14 Day 36 Nature - this photography was taken in a garden, the Aperture was altered and the backlight was switched on to capture this image.

29.8.14 Day 37 Leaves - this photograph was taken in a park after the rain, Aperture was altered to produce this final piece.

30.8.14 Day 38 Beach - Photograph was taken at Double Island Point, Shutter Speed and ISO settings were altered to capture this shot.
 

31.8.14 Day 39 Boat - Shutter Speed and ISO settings were altered to capture this shot. The lighting was a bit off.

01.9.14 Day 40 Wire - This was photographed at Woolvi, the Aperture and Shutter Speed were altered to capture this image.

02.9.14 Day 41 Surfer - This was taken at Kawana Beach, the Shutter speed was altered to capture this shot. The light could have been improved

03.9.14 Day 43 Couple - The Aperture was altered to blur the background out and focus on the figures.

04.9.14 Day 43 Texture - This was taken at KG. It is a texture photograph, I was intrigued by the structure and the movement and shape it forms.

05.9.14 Day 44 Texture Photograph - The piles of wood expose a great grundge texture.

06.9.14 Day 45 Texture Photograph - A image of the KG elevator, The contrast and structure's form is interesting and visully appealing to me.

07.9.14 Day 46 Texture Photography - Wooden Panels - I was intrigued by the movement and diection of the panels.

08.9.14 Day 47 Textured Photography - Concrete -  I was fasinated with the texture embedded into the concrete

09.9.14 Day 48 Texture Photography - Drain - This was taken at KG, I thought it is a different yet appealing texture through the contrast and space exposed.

10.9.14 Day 49 Texture Photograph - Tin Wall - I was intrigued by the direction and reflection that is captured in this photography.

11.9.14 Day 50 Photography lighting- the different lighting is exposed in this photograph.

12.9.14 Day 51 Layout - The lighting exposes different shadows and express a more personal emotion with the lighting mood it creates.

13.9.14  Day 52 Light poles - This was taken on a street, the Aperture, Shutter Speed was manipulated and the shot was not in focus to reveal this final photograph.  I like the blurred motion affect this photograph exposes.

14.9.14  Day 53 Cars - This was taken off a bridge, the Shutter and ISO was manipulated and altered to capture the final result. The lighting is visually appealing and creates a fast dynamic feeling

15.9.14 Day 54 Reflection - This was taken off a jetty, the Shutter and ISO was manipulated and altered to capture the final result. The lighting is visually appealing and creates a mellow feeling.

16.9.14  Day 55 This is another shot off the street, the shutter speed was manipulated to get this type of lighting affect.

17.9.14 Day 56 This was taken off a jetty, the Shutter and ISO was manipulated and altered to capture the final result. The lighting is visually appealing and the reflection of the lights on the water set off an positive feeling.

19.9.14  Day 58 Boats This was taken off a jetty, the Shutter was manipulated and the focus was altered to capture the final result. The lighting is intriguing and different causing a reaction from the image.

20.9.14 Sky High - A photograph of two bird was capture at Double Island point. Scale/zoom was manipulate in this shot.

21.9.14 Day 60 Scale was also manipulated in this shot as the figures are in the distance making the lanscape look very grand.
