[PROJECT DETAILS]
The objectives for this project were to choose a band and then create a festival with a cause. I chose the Zac Brown Band. This band has many different ties to food. They have a partnership with Rusty, a chef that travels with the band for “Eat & Greets.” Zac Brown, the band’s lead singer, also helped partner local farmers with a summer camp for kids, Camp Southern Ground, for their produce. The festival I created, Roots, became a Zac Brown and friends festival meant to raise funds and awareness for local farmers.
