PROJECT OVERVIEW

Medp, a whiskey sospeso bar brand that connects hearts

with the gift of a glass of whiskey.

We reinvent the Italian culture of "caffé sospeso"-leaving a cup of espresso for anonymous future visitors.

New visitors (Receivers) can enjoy the experience of a free glass of whiskey left by a past visitor (Sender), along with a warm message and music pairing. Our Receivers who enjoyed medp's whiskey sospeso can also become a Sender to send a glass of warmth to others.

At a time when heart-to-heart exchanges between people are becoming rare, we hope that the small gift someone has prepared for you will be a great comfort, and that the bond of comfort will spread to make our society a little warmer.

SENDER CAN LEAVE A glass of whiskey, music and its lyrics, and a MESSAge for the future visitor who we call receiver. These are THE steps THAT our sender & receiver follow when they want to enjoy medp sospeso.

BRAND NAMING & LOGO

OUR brand name AND LOGO started from a korean word, 'medp' [mae-deup] which means 'knot' in english. this represents the connection of senderS and receivers who are the visitors TO our bar no matter of time.

BRAND COLOR

we use colors mainly inspired by the color of whiskey and some textures from nature to make AN overall warm mood for the brand identity.

BRAND TYPOGRAPHY

we use abc helveesti & sandoll gawain for the main typefaces, and sharpe & corinthia & pretendard foR the sub typefaces.

Brand KEY VISUAL

WE USEd 2 types of KEY VISUALs that are inspired by the shape of whiskey glass and anonymous visitors. since whiskey sospeso is a culture that can show its energy when there are two visitors, we wanted to show the lights and energy between glasses of whiskey.

USER EXPERIENCE IN OUR BAR

Visitors will be able to fill their bar experiences with a tablet PC in their seats. By entering the number on their ticket through the website inside the tablet PC, they will be able to listen to the music that the previous Sender left behind as well as information about the whiskey they will be ordering.
