Our constant Companion gift booklet

Font cover of booklet
I was tasked to choose a talk from the most recent General Conference I would like to share with someone I care about. Using the text of the talk, I would design a multi-page printed booklet as a gift. I would focus on how typography hierarchy works over a series of spreads to engage and invite a reader to invest time in the content.
This project is made to challenge the student to create a beautiful document worth giving. The main goal is for the document to be read. it needs to be legible but preferably it should be readable.
The questions I had in mind while I was creating this project,

-Does it feel like a gift from someone that cares?
-Can you tell what it is?
-Does the cover say, “pick me up”?
-Are the colors and typography in harmony with the message?
-Is it easy to read?
-Are there elements that might grab someone's attention and interest?
-Is it clear from one page to the next where to read?
-Can it be skimmed for information?
-Do the cover and each spread have a family resemblance?
-Are there enough differences on each spread to maintain interest?
