Three Mandalas
This assignment's purpose was to apply a relaxing way to understand color theory better. Since color is extremely powerful in evoking emotion, reinforcing cultural references, and setting the tone for a design, it is such a subjective and powerful design element.
I chose three different mandalas, with different hues.
The three mandalas were completed in Adobe Illustrator with the paint bucket tool.
The three mandalas were created for DDN-101: Design Thinking.
This mandala had swatches of different tints, shades, and tones of pink.
These colors for the mandala, which included green and red tints, shades, and tones, were situated directly across from one another on the color wheel.
The colors used to create this mandala were pink, yellow, and blue tints, shades, and tones arranged in a triangle on the color wheel.
