Mahua Moitra is an Indian politician and banker. She is an MP (Member of Parliament) from Krishnanagar, West Bengal. She was a banker before becoming a politician.

Mahua belongs to the All-India Trinamool Congress (AITC) party. She was also a Member of the Legislative Assembly from Karimpur district, West Bengal.

Mahua was a vice president at JPMorgan Chase Bank, New York City, London.

After resigning from JPMorgan Chase Bank, Mahua started her political career.

Mahua started her political career in the “Indian Youth Congress” party.

Mahua was the head of the “Aam Admi Ka Sipahi” party.

On December 8, 2023, Mahua was expelled from the Lok Sabha due to her involvement in accepting bribes and ‘Cash for Query’ corruption.
