🎦 Let me introduce you to my first-ever short film “Flee Away”, а part of the project “The Running Ones” produced by PlakatKombinat.com.
🕊️ The story of a family peace that is mercilessly destroyed depicts not only the war atrocities but also the human intrusion into the wildlife balance. The film aims to raise awareness and support those who have to leave their home because their home and roots are gone.
🎨 The stylistics are greatly inspired by the Petrykivka, a traditional decorative painting style, originating from 19th century from the village of Petrykivka, in the current Dnipropetrovsk oblast of Ukraine.
🎬 “The Running Ones” is the initiative of the poster art platform PlakatKombinat.com, which through artistic means interprets the problems related to fleeing from war, terror, and political persecution. This project is produced by Anna Simeonoff (curator) and Daniel Nenchev with the financial support of the National Culture Fund (Bulgaria) under the ”Program for Restoration and Development of Private Cultural Organizations”. With another partner – the National Academy of Arts, Sofia.
