For this project, we had to design a t-shirt for a local charity that is hosting a fun run. For this design, I was inspired by retro fonts and album covers. On albums from the 60s and 70s the colors are usually bright and fun and the lettering is whimsical and childlike, so I thought something similar would make for a fun, fitting t-shirt design since the fun run is for kids. The plain black variation is my favorite, but I gave the client multiple choices for the color scheme so they could have one they were happy with in case my design was chosen by them. The two fonts I used for the bottom portion of the design for the back of the shirt are Super Woobly and Berthside, which I chose because they both looked retro without being too similar to each other. The colors on the design on the back of the shirt can be changed to match those of the design on the front if the client ends up picking a different variation of this design. If I could, I would want to redo this entire project because I don't feel particularly proud of it. It's too hard to read with all of the different colored outlines and it looks too busy and amateurish. I would definitely get rid of the yellow and orange outlines that are present in the first few.
