These were the words a slave was to whisper into the ears of a roman general as he paraded through the streets of ancient Rome. Even though you’re on your peak today, tomorrow you might be brought down.
It might seem pretty dark to be concerned with such matters. However through the ages a lot of artists have given their bid on how to interpret the matters of life and death, and how to visualize it. It also was an experiment where I, so to speak, let the motifs come to me. The animals I found would be the ones I used in the pictures.
