Public Service Announcement (PSA) print campaign

Public Service Announcement Poster Campaign
This project was a great opportunity to share something that is important to my family. My 17-year-old son Wilson is in a wheelchair, and even though there have been significant improvements in accommodating people with disabilities, there is still so much more to be done.
Accessibility Awareness Poster Campaign
Wilson shared with us what his biggest accessibility frustrations are, as well as when he had great accessibility experience. Stairs are always a difficulty, and often he will get out of his chair and crawl up the stairs in order to participate. He loves nature and bird watching, so we are always looking for places that have wheelchair accessible nature paths, and beaches that layout special trails that allow wheelchairs to roll over the sand. Although great advancements have been made in materials and designs to allow wheelchair access in almost any situation, the reality is that these type of accommodations are still very rare. My poster campaign is to help raise accessibility awareness and to direct people to www.access-board.gov, a government organization that focused on creating full access for everyone through policy creation, training, and accessibility design.
