在中国的传统文化中，梅、兰、竹、菊。被人称为“四君子”，在绘画装饰纹样的应用中具有特别的寓意，代表着希望使用者具有高尚的品德。我把这四种植物用了相对来说比较抽象图形的方式绘制成图案，配上四种不同颜色的布，制作成垫子。
In traditional Chinese culture, plum, orchid, bamboo and chrysanthemum. Known as the "Four Gentlemen", they have a special meaning in the application of decorative patterns in paintings, representing the hope that users will have noble moral character. I drew these four plants into patterns using relatively abstract graphics, paired them with cloths of four different colors, and made them into mats.
