Ivi Sans Display—a typeface tailored by the TypeType team of designers for the online video streaming service IVI.

Ivi Sans Display complemented the freshly updated company's style. After rebranding, the mood of the online streaming service became friendlier and kinder, and the sharp shapes of the logo transformed into rounded ones. The only missing piece to complete the company's image was a signature font with a unique and vibrant personality. In search of such a font, the IVI team reached out to us— TypeType font design studio.

While crafting the font, we drew our inspiration from the adjectives that capture the online streaming service's central values: emotional, modern, soft, unusual, vibrant, and kind. 

Throughout our exploration stage, IVI conducted research and gathered feedback—this helped us understand what kind of fonts their audience liked. We also factored in the company's specific preferences: the IVI team wanted their font to be asymmetrical, unique, and with a quirky charm.

As a result, we crafted a vibrant and attractive font with rounded shapes, unusual ink traps, and many fascinating details. The font's look is inventive and original, but, at the same time, it evokes associations with something close and familiar. Besides, Ivi Sans Display turned out to be welcoming and friendly as well due to its overall handmade feel.

The typeface consists of four font styles: Regular, Medium, Bold, and Black. We also added 12 OpenType features. These include but aren't limited to three stylistic sets with different font style options that make the font easily adaptable to a multitude of tasks.

Ivi Sans Display will be used in IVI's external and internal communications. That means it will always be visible wherever the brand interacts with people: from its outdoor advertising campaigns and TV commercials to the company's presentations.
