Stationary Systems Project

Logo and Stationary Systems
For my stationary project, I chose to recreate a logo for Philz Coffee. Philz’s target audience is really anyone who is looking for a cup of coffee. Their mission is to better the days of their consumers with a cup of coffee every single day. They approach every interaction with warmth and sincerity to raise each other’s spirits. Philz’s original logo is very simple but creative. I wanted to create something fun so I drafted some ideas down and came up with a logo. For this new logo, I started off with a coffee mug and wanted to put the name Philz inside. I played around with fonts and then eventually drew in the name Philz. I wanted some of the smoke to appear as it was coming out of the mug so I added that and the word coffee write in between the smoke. I also added their signature Mint Mojito leaves on the mug and their phrase “one cup at a time” on the front of the mug. To make it feel more coffee-like I added some coffee beans around the mug. For my business cards, I wanted to incorporate the company’s colors which are brown and yellow-orange so I made one side brown and the other a yellow-orange color. On the brown business card, I included the logo and then I put some coffee beans on the sides. For the yellow-orange side, I added the logo and some more coffee beans on the bottom of the card. As for my envelope, it has a yellow-orange color and some coffee beans at the bottom. I put my designs on a stationary template which includes my cover letter, an envelope, my business cards, a cup, a notebook, and some electronics. I used this one because I liked that it can be displayed on paper but also on a cup and on electronics as they do have a mobile app.
