WARREN G : WEST COAST ICON - ZINE
For this project, I really wanted to create a zine on one of my interests, so I based this zine around the song Regulate by Warren G. I wanted the imagery to feel ominous like someone is walking around at night, which is the backstory in the song, which is why I chose to stick with this black and white theme. building off that idea, I also wanted each spread to feel like an environment that the song and text of Warren G's life could relate to so instead of completely depending on found images I decided to collage multiple images on several spreads to create the environment I envisioned.
