For this project, my Graphic Design 3 class worked with an after-school youth program here in Lincoln to design an awareness campaign for threatened or endangered species in Nebraska. By the end of this project, my class and I gained screen printing skills, and both groups of students had a deeper understanding of the importance of protecting our environment and the species that inhabit it. This collaborative effort only resulted in attractive t-shirt products but also foster a sense of environmental responsibility and community engagement.
