The brief:
Dunzo as a product has always looked to create engaging user experience on its platform. From the order tracking journey to splash screens, we are always looking to improve on how the brand interacts with the customers and how it presents itself.
With the Custom Pages project, we were not only looking to improve the shopping experience on the platform, but also move the needle for the business.
The challenge ahead was to solve for:
1. Provide a fresh experiece for our users on the platform
2. Increase the cart value of our customers
3. Highlight some of the categories and sub-categories of Dunzo
4. Improve visibility of sale events on the platform
The spark:
The idea was to come up with a fresh approach for our homepage, that nudged our users towards a page that was exploratory in nature. Each page would have a specific theme, and the products were curated to fit the same.
While many of our homepage banners were static, we broke away from this to create dynamic banners with animated gifs and vibrant illustrations that added to the effectiveness of these custom pages.

There were 3 variations of homepage touchpoints, that redirected to the custom page.

Use of animation was based on the project.
Copy:
Since each page had a specific theme, the copy followed suit and created unique labels and thematic microcopies

The result:
From the use of mascots to illustrations & animations featured in these pages, the custom page project saw a jump in numbers from a business perspective.
We saw an improvement in the cart value over time, and it also increased the frequency at which customers visited the app.
