Proverbial Wisdom
I was assigned to work on a motivational social media post that allows me to practice the art of typography. Going into this project, my goal is to motivate and target college students. College is a hard time for many students. As a student myself, I find that motivational content and quotes really help me when I am having a hard time. I thought that 1 Peter 5:7 was perfect.

Thumbs and Roughs:
After creating the thumbnails on Adobe Illustrator, I decided I liked my third option the best. While I felt attached to all three ideas, however, I felt that the third option is easier to read. It also conveys the important elements of the verse more.
Finally, I was able to work with color. I decided to use pink, yellow and purple because they are very calming and soothing colors. I also wanted to work with the gradient tool in Illustrator. Overall, I am very happy with how they turned out.
Out of all three, I really like the pastel yellow color gradient the best. Yellow is bright and cheerful. For someone that is having a hard day, I hope the color will make them feel happier. I also really like the yellow gradient because it reminds me of the sun and
its rays.
