Creative Editorial Layout
For our fourth and final project in Graphic Design, we will be creating a creative editorial layout, either in the form of a magazine cover article spread, or a Newspaper section lead type and image integration layout. In doing so we will be either making a collage or a drawn illustration and using it as our lead image for an article. In turn, we will also integrate text in with the imagery in a way more visually appealing than side-by-side. In this case study I will be doing this for '"Earth after Humans."

For ideation, I thought of things that were unique to humans that might be around long gone after we are. I created a mind map for easy reference and ideation. I thought of some unique landmarks, like the Empire State Building, Big Ben, or Statue of Liberty pictured above. I also thought of everyday things, like the highway, cars, or a mall recaptured by nature. For some of my sketch ideas, I went ahead and put these ideas in to AI generators like we did in class, so I could better visualize what these would look like. From there I sketched.
