TEDxLviv: Zeitgeist — Conference Branding




TED is a global conference dedicated to "ideas worth spreading." It unites people of all cultures who seek a deeper understanding of the world. "TEDx" is a local conference that takes place on the ground. This was done in order to make the TED movement even more widespread. Our task was to create a logo and visual language for the TEDxLviv event, which had the theme "Zeitgeist". The participants of the conference reflected on the philosophy of the concept of time, talked and had a great time.






Idea

The image of the eternal Spinning Top perfectly conveys the content and atmosphere of the "Zeitgeist" conference. The object is a kind of image of "life and time" that cannot be grasped, it can only be understood in motion. As soon as we try to stop time, in our hands is not reality, but its pathetic likeness. In our case, the Spinning Top is something that we cannot influence.
