I designed a set of screens for within the notifcations and message flows for: empty state (no messages), permissions (allow push notifications) and message settings. I took ownership of the copy and illustrations. By updating the old copy and icons, I improved the perceived quality and trustworthiness of the app.

The previous screens were not inspiring, and did not appear considered or trustworthy. The empty state screen was incorrectly designed as an error screen, and the negative copy+illustration warned the user instead of informing them that they don't have accounts yet.
