Level Design - Labyrinth

Labyrinth
Labyrinth is a dungeon crawl, puzzle solving, theoretical game, designed to test the player's patience and puzzle-solving skills. This project is the environment design of the first level in the game. The player starts in the open area, then goes down into the cavern. They will need to run up and down the ladders within the cavern in order to pull them in a specific order to unlock the gate to the next level. At the same time, the cavern is nearly pitch black, so the player will need to carry the lantern they find at the entrance to the cavern, in order to see as they move about.
The environment was designed, lit, and rendered with Unreal Engine 5. The models were designed and textured in Maya.
