Anfield Regeneration Scheme

This project focused on regenerating an area in Liverpool around the Liverpool F.C. stadium. The masterplanning of this project looked to create a strong commercial district around the stadium with shops, eateries, and a hotel - building on precedents of modern football stadium planning. Transport links and infrastructure in the area were tackled with a public transport depot, new road systems, and a plan for dealing with matchday traffic [human and vehicular]. In addition, the residential area was strengthened with a proposal to bring communities closer together; new homes, schools, and parks were designed to create positive spaces for residents.
Road ReMapping to create a better infrastructure.
Proposed commercial district around the stadium. A purpose-built hotel looks out over the stadium housing a commercial front at the ground level.
New residential layout including new green spaces, sports centre and school. The now disused space of Notre Dame school sees a proposal to become an orchard park inviting healthy public activity and living.
