Love this movie, the performances of the actors (super early uncredited role from Macaulay Culkin) that it inspired Silent Hill, that it introduced me (via its ‘borrowing’ of several infamous scenes/concepts, like the legless shaking headman in the metal frame) to the photography of Joel Peter Witkin, its dedication to on set/practical effects and its far superior to Sixth Sense chilling otherworldy narrative mixed with vietnam PTSD. Still torn over which ending I dig more as the deleted scenes are something else.
