DREAMY MIRIAM.

the atmosphere of these photos are inspired by the myth of Elisa Day and the videoclip for the song Where the wild roses grow by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds ft. Kylie Minogue.
in the photos, I tried to capture a dreamy atmosphere accompanied by a certain feeling of despondency, but at the same time in contrast with absolute girlish delicacy and smoothness. Miriam is set in a darker, quiet natural setting with a noisily flowing stream in the background, which acts as a contrast to the almost motionless figure. the darkness is supposed to symbolize an act from the legend of Elise, who was murdered by her lover and subsequently pushed her body into the river. whiteness, on the other hand, is a contrast to this act and a reminder of the delicacy and fragility of life and beauty.
however, I leave room for any further interpretation and do not want to interpretively limit these photos.
