Los Trapos - Football Culture Store

Launched right before the 2014 FIFA World Cup,  the LOS TRAPOS football Culture Store is a store dedicated to all football lovers, no matter their team. Being one of the first ones in Brazil, the store was built to congregate tfans in one place for shopping and cheering. The ambient offers lifestyle soccer products such as shirts, sneakers, backpacks, souvenirs, books, dvds, football illustrations by argentinian and brazilian artists, and - off course - The house artesian beer: LOS TRAPOS KOLSH. In the mezanine there is a place with an excellent coffee to make some small meetings, to work or even to watch football matches. The project developed by That Design Company, along with the owner, values the gathering and invite the costumers to discover some curiosities about the most played sport  in the world.
LEÔNIDAS DA SILVA - WHO INVENTED THE BICYCLE? Leônidas da SIlva invented the bicycle kick in football. The first time he performd it was in April 24th 1932. In 1938 World Cup, "The Black Diamond"(as he was called) even scored a goal with the movement, but turned out it was unfortunately considered illegal because the soccer referee never seen it before!
EL HINCHA - Miguel Reyes worked at NACIONAL CLUB OF FOOTBALL in Uruguay to inflate the balls (Hinchar is spanish for inflate). He was really fanatic for his team and encouraged the team by cheering and yelling. Soon people started to comment: "Mirá cómo grita ele hincha!"(Look  how cheers the inflator). refering to his work. The term became popular.
TORCEDOR? The term "torcedor"(cheering) was created by the journalist Coelho Neto, that used the expression for the first time to describe some fans in a football match in the thirties who twisted (torcer is portuguese for twist) their shirts soacked with the sweat caused by the stress of the match.
