These two prints are the final outcome for a Cath Kidston Competition brief, the aim was to create a print that was unique and original however it still had fit in to the brand of the company. Therefore I used similar tones such as pale pink and blue to related it back to the company but also the style of which designed the flower fits in to the company brand.
These photo are some of the inital idea and the developement of the print. Creating different textures and stlyes by using different materials such as Watercolor and inks.
The poppy drawing is the final designs that I took forward because it was easier to put into a repeat pattern also because poppies are a very symbolic flower of Britain. I developed using the same materials as the other flower, watercolour and inks
