Gurumukh Singh Ki Waseeyat is originally a short story by Saadat Hasan Manto, it explores the horrors of partition through different characters. The short story was adapted into a play by Danish Iqbal. This was later worked upon by Anusha Khan and Umaima Khanam who adapted the play in the contemporary context of NRC/CAA in New Delhi.
