This project aims to examine the fuel that fed the fire of the 2008 financial crisis, the effects of which are still being felt around the world today. The crash brought issues such as corporate greed, economic globalisation and social inequality to the forefront of public debate. Many people lost their homes, jobs or businesses during the crisis and growing poverty caused an onslaught of public anger and outrage at irresponsible financial institutions, by this point receiving unbelievable monetary aid to avoid complete collapse.

The social and political movement 'Occupy' was born as a reaction to the devastating effects caused by the crash and has since grown on an international scale, campaigning to support economic equality and crush corrupt corporate influence.

I've included a couple of sketchbook drawings where I toyed with the possibility of different faces & Identites, primarily the idea of 'corporate clowns' which I later scrapped.
