A star-delta motor, from an engineering standpoint, is used to control the starting torque and speed of three-phase induction motors, enhancing their efficiency and performance. The connection of the stator windings resembles a star, hence its name. The design process began with creating a 3D model using Catia V5, making all the different elements that compose the motor and then assembling them. I then used Keyshot to render the model with realistic images. The final result is a detailed and realistic 3D model that showcases the unique features of the star motor.
