Naver Dan23 Conference Movie Package

We produced the video package for dan23, Naver's first integrated conference, at Cosmic Ray. dan23 introduced new AI-related services and technologies, providing insight into Naver's future vision. Based on dan23's identity guidelines established by Naver's Design & Marketing Center, we created the conference's main opening video, teaser site video, welcome lounge, and AI service use case videos. We implemented various use cases to allow people to indirectly experience the newly introduced AI services, including impactful opening videos that set the tone for the conference, as well as videos for the welcome lounge and throughout the event.

Opening Movie

We needed to create impact that would build excitement among people as it marked the beginning of the dan23 conference. While the design composition had a 2D feel, we focused on dynamic and expansive staging using a wide-screen ratio. Additionally, we emphasized a casual start that transitioned into a weighty impact through sound production. This approach effectively conveyed the message and theme of the conference.

In the initial draft, we primarily used the blue color while taking advantage of the characteristics of wide resolutions to create a layout where the combination of lines felt longer and more prominent. Later, after discussions with Naver's Design & Marketing Center, we incorporated a vibrant red as the key color and distilled dan23's iconic key visual, compressing descriptive elements to the maximum extent possible.

The teaser was of utmost importance as it served as a play to announce the conference in advance while simultaneously unveiling the key visual for the first time. We created the initial artwork by referring to the identity that had been agreed upon in collaboration with Naver's Design & Marketing Center.

Welcome Lounge Motion

This digital signage content is the first thing conference attendees encounter at the venue. We created motion graphics that offer a consistent mood and allow visitors to experience various information seamlessly, from ticket purchases to the timetable and service videos. The simple and clear digital elements, displayed through a massive integrated LED wall, are designed to guide visitors' paths in conjunction with analog signage, ultimately leading them to the main stage.

AI service use case movie

The primary focus of this conference was the transformation of Naver services associated with generative AI.
It was a crucial mission to convincingly propose the changes in the search environment that would result from Naver's services. Alongside advice from Naver's service development team, we staged use cases for upcoming services that will be officially unveiled. We paid meticulous attention to relatable search scenarios and realistic UI animations to ensure that users could sense a distinct change in the search experience without drastically altering the way they search.
